Following these successes, he presents his much-anticipated contribution to the Haydn bicentenary of 2009: the complete London Symphonies. These twelve symphonies represent the pinnacle of the classical genre, at the height of Haydn's powers as the greatest and most prolific symphonist of his time. Minkowski has already garnered a reputation as one of the most innovative and progressive Mozart conductors performing today; now his renown in the field can be extended to Mozart's friend and contemporary, Haydn.
